Starting as early as preschool, students at Kenowa Hills are taught to celebrate each other's differences, strengths and areas of needed growth. There are several programs that encourage peer-to-peer interaction between general education and students with learning differences. These programs encourage a strong school community and teach students how to relate with others who may have different needs and interact in different ways. Our inclusion programs help all students gain self-confidence, empathy, responsibility, enhance communication, and build strong leadership skills.
These programs are structured in a fun and engaging way to interaction in the simplest of forms from sitting with other students at lunch, helping another student in their class, or being a recess buddy.
If any of our students have experienced or seen behaviors that do not meet our standards for an inclusive environment, we encourage them to complete our Be Heard Form Here.
Our Personal Mastery educational experience has redefined education and has gained attention around the state and nation. Personal Mastery provides your child with personalized attention from teachers. Instead of teaching to a broad group of students without an understanding of their individual strengths and weaknesses, Personal Mastery allows teachers to interact with students individually or in small groups to help them better address their weaknesses. In this way, we strive to help your child reach their full potential.PERSONAL MASTERY SPECIAL EDUCATION ENGLISH LEARNERS TECHNOLOGY IN THE CLASSROOM
