Free Breakfast and Lunch through the School Year

The USDA approved FREE meals to all children ages 0-18 through the end of the 2020-21 school year.

What does this mean for my student(s)?

Whether your student will be attending a school site, or the Kenowa Hills Online Learning Academy (KHOLA), they will have access to a FREE breakfast and lunch each day we are in session.

Face-to-Face Menus

All Elementary schools will be serving the same breakfast and lunch menus. Middle and High School will share menus as well.

These menus will look limited in comparison to what our students are used to seeing. But rest assured, we will be adding more items back into the menu as we adjust to our new service model.

KHOLA Weekly Meal Boxes
Click here to access the Weekly Order Form for the Meal Kits. Orders are due by 12:00 PM on Friday, the week before the scheduled meal pickup time. Meal Kit pick up will be Wednesday’s from 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM at the Field House entrance of the High School.

As a reminder:

  • Pick ups will be Wednesdays from 12:00-1:00 PM at the Field House entrance of the High School
  • Meal kits contain 6 breakfasts and 6 lunches
  • Meals kits are provided at NO COST
  • You are able to order additional boxes for children ages 0-18 in your family that are not enrolled in KHOLA.
  • Kenowa students enrolled in Face-to-Face learning are not eligible for Meal Kits
  • The menu for the week is listed on the Order Form. Menu items are subject to change based on availability, but we will do everything we can to provide what is listed each week.

We are still offering daily meal pick up through Tuesday, September 29th from 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM at the Field House entrance of the high school. However, we will not have a meal pick up on Friday, September 25th, as there is no school. Thank you for your participation, we are looking forward to getting this program started!

Yes!

  • The USDA has approved this program through December 31st of this year. However, we would like all families to be prepared if the program ends early, or does not continue past December 31st.
  • Families must fill out a new application every year. If you have not completed one for the 2020-21 school year, please do so as soon as possible. You can apply online through the following link, and paper applications are available at each site.
  • Although meals are currently free to all students ages 0-18 it is incredibly important that you submit your application each year!

Online Free and Reduced Meal Benefits Application

I have already deposited money into my students account. Now what?

Free meals for all students is currently scheduled through December 31st, but that could change. Any money deposited into your students account will remain in their account, and will be available should anything change.

Will you be offering A la Carte items for purchase?

Not at this time. We would like to spend some time adjusting to our new meal service models and then look at how we can best accommodate a la carte purchases.
