Hello Kenowa Families,

Hard to believe we are finishing our fourth week of school already. It was another good week for our students and staff as we continue to get in the groove with our 6-period schedule and the pace of school. Students have done well this year and are enjoying their time. As students start to take more quizzes and assessments please continue to ask how they are doing and check in with PowerSchool and Canvas.

As we look forward to Homecoming next week, this is a great week for our students to enjoy the spirit days and the other events of the week. Most of that information is detailed in the newsletter this week.

Make it a great week and Go Knights!

Nate

Hello Kenowa Families,

We all had another great week at the high school. The great weather has helped with keeping us in a good mood for sure.

We had an opportunity to learn from our Student Services Team. It is important for each student to have a place where they feel valued when they are at school. Our hope is that every student feels good when they are at school.

Thanks again for sharing your student with us and for partnering in helping value each student!

Finally, this weekend, we are hosting the Gus Macker 3on3 basketball tournament. This will prove to be a fun time for participants and spectators.

We hope you can come out and watch.

Have a great weekend and please reach out with any questions.

Nate

Hello Kenowa families,

It has been a great 2 weeks of school and we are getting into the routines of school. We appreciate your working with us as we start our school year.

I wanted to celebrate with you as we were told that our food drive last week set a new record for WoodTV8. What a start!! We collected 5,565 pounds of food!!! That’s a new Frenzy Food Drive record and equals 4,637.5 meals! In fact, that was 2,000 pounds over the previous record. Thank you Kenowa Community!

Also, this next week we will be hosting the Gus Macker 3-on-3 Basketball tournament at our high school facility. This will require our students to park in other spots next week Thursday and Friday. We will communicate these changes next week again. The loop in the student lot will still be open. Thanks for your understanding as we host this very fun event! We have over 260 teams signed up to compete.

Thanks again for a great start to our school year.

Enjoy the Long Labor Day weekend.

Nate
