We had a very busy short week at Zinser. Our 3rd graders got to take a field trip to Lansing to see the Capitol, 1st graders got to go to the Public Museum, and the rest of the school did service projects yesterday to spread Valentine's Day cheer! Check out this week's newsletter to see what our 4th grade classes made for their service project.

Congratulations to 5th grader Emilyn K, who's name was chosen as last week's Family Fun February winner! Take pictures of your family participating in Family Fun February and send them to kkozminski@khps.org to be entered into a weekly drawing for a prize!

An email went out earlier today for signups for Zinser Elementary's Carnival on March 8th! - We need your help! Here is a sign-up genius link for Carnival Volunteers. If you are a dad and want to help our WatchDOGS group, reach out to Mark Racalla (mracalla@gmail.com) as they will be helping with concessions (it's not on this sign-up). Sign-up today! *Please note at this time we are not accepting Middle School Volunteers*

Happy Friday Zinser Families,

We are so proud of all our students for doing a wonderful job on NWEA testing that wrapped up today. A huge shout out to our proctors Ms. Chris & Mr. Read for helping in our building for the last 4 weeks!

We've decided to declare Monday PJ/comfy clothes day to mourn the Lions not making it to the Super Bowl.

We have a very busy few weeks coming up at Zinser and throughout the district - please make sure to mark your calendars

2/9 - Girl's KBA Youth Night - Join us as we face Catholic Central in two home games. We will be celebrating our Girl's KBA teams and coaches at halftime of the varsity game. JV Game: 5:30 Varsity: to follow
2/12 - Zinser Elementary's Music Concert - Held at KH High School Performing Arts Center
2/16 - 2/20 - MidWinter Break - No School
2/26 & 2/28 - Incoming 6th Grade Parent Meeting - KH Middle School

Happy Friday Zinser Families,

We had a very busy full week at school. The kids have been working very hard finishing up testing and preparing for the upcoming music concert. Ms. Majchrzak is our spotlight class this week. She has included many details about the concert in the attached newsletter.

Ms. Majchrzak has been very busy getting our students ready for Zinser’s Musical Celebration. The school concert will be held on Monday, February 12th at Kenowa Hills Performing Arts Center at KH High School 3825 Hendershot Ave NW, Grand Rapids, MI
